I was due to have a baby in only 10 weeks. I was worried how I would cope with this in my current disorganised house: never being able to find things; having 5 different areas for the same thing; and an office that was in a shambles. I asked Tanya to come and have a wander through my house to see what could be changed to run my house and office more efficiently. Tanya gave helpful and inexpensive advice on what I could do to make things a bit easier on myself.

After Tanya sorted my linen cupboard and one of my kids' rooms I was inspired. It was incredibly easy to find things and I could see how I could benefit if the rest of my house was organised in this manner. I can't tell you how organised and clear-headed I am feeling. It might sound silly but I feel I can walk into motherhood with more control over my life now and it just doesn't seem as overwhelming as it did before.

To tell you the truth, I didn't think that 'sorting' could make that much difference beforehand and I know many people think like me; if only they knew how it has changed my life.

One of the most valuable skills an organiser can have is the ability to meet clients where they are at. So my feedback to you is that I think you have a wonderful calm manner that puts clients at ease and makes them feel listened to, and that will serve you very well. Time and space are definitely at a premium in our household. Tanya helped me to get rid of those things I didn't really need and to organise my drawers and cupboards so that I know what I have and can quickly put my hands on things when I need them. Oh my office, the filing! It's so much easier. I had to run out the door to see a client in Crib Point this morning and totally forgot about samples. There they were at my finger tips and beautifully labelled. Phew!
